Description:

The Town Hall Theatre dates from the 1820's but was extensively refurbished in 1995. It is the major performance arts venue in Galway hosting drama, concerts, musicals and diverse events. Each year it's one of the major venues for the Galway Arts Festival (July), Galway Film Fleadh (July), Cúirt Literary Festival (April) and Baboró Children's Arts Festival (October).

Most of Druid Theatre Company performances also take place at the Town Hall Theatre.
